1“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: 2 A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; 3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; 7 A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; 8 A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.”Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NKJV
⁃ There’s a time and a place for everything. Things may not happen when we want them to but God will make it happen in His timing. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.
• “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. (Isaiah 55:8 NKJV)
⁃ God is such an amazing Father and He would rather first prepare us for what we ask. Identify the season you’re in. Sometimes we have to be still and let God be God instead of trying to do His job. Additionally make sure that what you’re asking for is in accordance with God’s will for your life. Jesus did not die for us to live in bondage.
• “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalms 46:10 NKJV)
⁃ It’s okay to get weary, frustrated and feel discouraged at times just don’t stay stuck in those emotions. Pray, fast and worship in the midst of the uncertainty because even if you don’t know… you serve the God who does. Also if you have unbelief pray that Jesus helps you get rid of it (read Mark 9:24).
• “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24 NKJV)
