God Chooses The Most Unlikely People (Hebrews 7:11-14) ‼️

“Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.” (Hebrews 7:11-14 NKJV)

⁃ God didn’t have Jesus come through the tribe of Levi which was the bloodline that was chosen for priesthood even though Jesus was a High Priest. Instead God chose Jesus to come from Judah. On that note God chooses people the world least expects that come from the least expected families, places, etc. The ones that are different, black sheep’s, the ones people reject, the outcasts, the flawed, etc. God does this so there will be no doubt that He will get the Glory for it all. So God can show His power through us.

⁃ It doesn’t matter where you come from and how bad you have sinned. You don’t have to be perfect to be used by God, you just have to be willing to say yes and accept the calling He has for your life. Men look at the outward appearance but God looks at our hearts. If you genuinely repent & accept Jesus you will be saved and healed… but only if you’re willing.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”(Romans 10:9 NKJV)
