4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”(Revelation 21:4-5 NKJV)
⁃ Forget the past, learn the lessons (so you don’t repeat the same cycles), work on your healing and move forward. Daddy God is trying to do a new thing, can you not perceive it? Forgive yourself and others and walk into what Daddy God has for you. Staying stuck in the past blinds you from enjoying your present and preparing for your future. You can’t go back and change the past but you can work on your present to ensure your future is different.
• 18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 ESV)
⁃ You got to become a new person in Christ, be willing to grow and evolve to reach the place Daddy God has for you. The old ways you used to do things will no longer work. The old habits, mindsets, etc do not serve you where Daddy God is trying to take you. He is trying to birth out a new you but only if you’re willing to participate and do the work. There are no shortcuts in character development.
