24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.””(Matthew 7:24-27 NKJV)
⁃ Make sure Christ is the foundation you’re building upon that way you will be able to withstand anything that comes your way. Walking with Daddy God and my Bro Jesus doesn’t mean we won’t go through anything, it just means we got the tools that will help us overcome the adversity.
⁃ When your foundation is built on anything other than Christ it will fall. Whether that is our own strength, other idols, people, money, etc. These things bring temporary fulfillment and can also lead to depression, anxiety, drug addictions, etc. We don’t know it all, people come and go and materialistic things fade away. But Daddy God and my Bro Jesus are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
