“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV)
⁃ What you say matters. Power of life and death is in the tongue. We can’t control what someone else says but we can control how we respond. Sometimes people will do and say things to get a reaction. Not every action deserves a reaction. Most times silence is the best answer. It doesn’t mean you’re weak.. you just don’t have to prove yourself to anybody by reducing yourself to someone’s level. Your mouth speaks what your heart is full of. You reap what you sow even with your words.
• “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” (Matthew 12:35 NKJV)
“He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.” (Proverbs 13:3 NKJV)
