22 “After Abimelech had reigned over Israel three years, 23 God sent a spirit of ill will between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech, 24 that the crime done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might be settled and their blood be laid on Abimelech their brother, who killed them, and on the men of Shechem, who aided him in the killing of his brothers.” (Judges 9:22-24 NKJV)
⁃ The people who hurt you, mistreat you, use you, slander you, etc do not get away with anything. Especially when you are a Child Of Daddy God. Vengeance belongs to the Lord and best believe He fights for His children. Don’t ever think because people don’t reap what they sow immediately that they got away with it (the world calls it “karma”). Daddy God is a just judge and He wishes no one to perish but for all to come to repentance.
• “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (II Peter 3:9 NKJV)
⁃ See in this story Abimelech paid for what he did to the sons of Jerubbaal three years later. So it may be days, weeks, months or years from now but Daddy God will bring vindication. Let go and Let God. Forgive and pray for your enemies/persecutors. You don’t want to block your own blessings by retaliating and being bitter. Daddy God hits harder than we could ever. Understand that people treat you according to how they really feel about themselves, it’s not personal. People also do and say things accordingly to their perception of life.
