2 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:2-4 NKJV)
⁃ The tests we endure produces patience and the fruits of the spirit within us (Read Galatians 5: 22-23). In the testing is where we get to know who Daddy God really is and to trust Him. The testing and waiting help us evolve into who we need to be aslong as we are learning the lessons. We need to grow through what we go through.
⁃ When you can’t feel Daddy God and Jesus and the doubts come.. Can you endure the silence while you wait? Will you trust the the process even when it seems like all hell is breaking loose? The tests will test our Faith. Will you still love Daddy God and Jesus even when you don’t get what you want? Will you praise, pray and give thanks in the middle of your storm? Daddy God cares more about our hearts than what He can bless us with. He wants to purify us and make us more like Him.
19 “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:19-24 NKJV)
