20 “But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him. 21 Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses.” (Daniel 5:20-21 NKJV)
⁃ Don’t ever let your pride and ego make you think that you’re too high and mighty to the point where you think that you don’t need Daddy God anymore. Pride comes before destruction. Everything we have is because He allows us to have it not because of our own strength. Just like He gives it to us He can take it away. We could never be God. He is God alone and doesn’t need anybody’s permission to be Him. The creation is not more powerful than the Creator. Humble yourself and He will exalt you because if you exalt yourself He will humble you.
“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverbs 16:18 NKJV)
“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 14:11 NKJV)
