Don’t let anybody downplay your achievements‼️

26 “Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” 27 And the people answered him in this manner, saying, “So shall it be done for the man who kills him.” 28 Now Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab’s anger was aroused against David, and he said, “Why did you come down here? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and the insolence of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle.” 29 And David said, “What have I done now? Is there not a cause?” (I Samuel 17:26-29 NKJV)

In this story David went to take his brothers food because they were in battle. There was this giant named Goliath everyone was scared to fight. David was not scared because he had already been prepared for something like this without him even knowing it when he was a shepherd. So David was asking around to see what would be the reward for the person who defeated the giant. One of his brothers Eliab overheard David talking to the others and got angry. David was the black sheep out of his seven brothers and was always overlooked.

With that being said jealousy and envy is real amongst the people around you whenever you are working towards your goals/ dreams/ purpose. People will try to make it seem like what you’re doing is unimportant or want to make you feel like your achievements are small or like they don’t see it. But don’t let nobody downplay what you have worked for. They were not there to do the work so celebrate yourself in spite of the hate around you. The only opinion you should care about is Daddy God’s and my Bro Jesus. Daddy God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are His masterpiece, you are blessed, you are worthy , you are loved, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and so much more… so who is anybody(a human at that) to tell you otherwise?
