38 “Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head. 39 David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not used to them. “I cannot go in these,” he said to Saul, “because I am not used to them.” So he took them off. 40 Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.” (1 Samuel 17:38-40 NIV)
People nowadays because of the world and culture want to follow one another and trends. That’s ok for certain things but nowadays people are losing who they are because they are too busy trying to be someone that Daddy God never created them to be. Everybody wants to be a follower but nobody wants to be a leader. Everybody wants to be anybody but themselves. People pleasing and being afraid of other’s opinions is what stops most people from reaching their fullest potential. If you can’t be yourself around the people you have in your circle you need to change your circle. Be your authentic self and please Daddy God and my Bro Jesus and stop seeking validation from the world. Daddy God and Jesus know and love the real you (the good and the bad). Be yourself. Be different. Stand out.
