“And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’” (Acts 13:22 NKJV)
⁃ God is not looking for perfect people but people that are willing to do His Will. People after His heart. Nobody’s perfect and everyone messes up, even the children of God. This is why repentance is important. Come as you are but when you build/have a relationship (not religion) with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit it’s impossible to stay the same person.
⁃ God along with Jesus just want to bring heaven here on earth. Our identity is not in this world but in Christ. Through Jesus we can accomplish so much for the Kingdom of God and for ourselves and the generations to come (it’s not just about us, our children, grandchildren, etc are depending on us). You don’t want to grow old and look back and regret that you didn’t do everything you was destined to do here on this earth. There are businesses, ministries, talents, gifts, etc waiting to be birthed. Everyone has a purpose but it’s only truly found in Christ.
