3 “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4 NKJV)
⁃ There’s purpose in your suffering. Nobody is exempt from suffering and everybody handles it differently but there is always a lesson to learn. When pain comes along it always comes to teach us something whether about ourselves, others, the world around us, or Daddy God & Jesus. Trials and tribulations come to teach us how to keep going. The lessons come to develop our character, if we choose to grow through what we go through. If you just go through life without doing any of the work (healing, growing, changing old habits, mindsets, etc) you will just repeat the same cycles and you can’t blame anybody but yourself. We are each responsible for our own lives.
⁃ Yes things happen to us that are out of our control and other people may cause our tribulations. But don’t stay stuck there. Get out that victim mentality, forgive (even if you never receive an apology) and keep going. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to allow these people around you. Forgiveness is not for the other person but mainly for ourselves (helps us heal from the hurt and move on). In order to become who Daddy God created you to be you have to do the work. It doesn’t matter how good you look on the outside if your heart is ugly. The trials and tribulations we face are also supposed to bring us closer to Daddy God and Jesus. We need to run to Them in the midst of our pain, not away from Them to other things that only bring temporary fulfillment.
