23 “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.“ (Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV)
⁃ Whatever you do should be to bring glory to Daddy God and Jesus, not the world or to yourself. Don’t believe the hype that culture portrays. The world can give you all the riches and things you may want but it will not bring you peace. Why gain the world but lose your soul? Daddy God knows what we need before we even ask and He will always provide us with what we need. Most times we want things the world portrays as good but it’s not what we actually need. So live your life in a way that glorifies Daddy God and Jesus. You might think the world is more fun but in reality it is just a distraction from what really matters… which is you building a relationship with Daddy God and Jesus, so you’d be able to fulfill your purpose here on earth.
• ”Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?“ (Matthew 16:24-26 NKJV)
