22 “Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. 23 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. 24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” 25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. 26 Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.” (Mark 8:22-26 NKJV)
In this story we see the man was healed in stages. Jesus did not just touch the man once and he was immediately healed. Jesus could have but as we see Jesus touched the man twice before the man was completely healed.
- With this being said your healing may come in stages and not immediately how you want it. I know from personal experience I went through certain situations in my life where I wanted Daddy God and Jesus to heal me or deliver me from those things immediately. However, that did not happen and I had to sit in the process and go through it to get better. The healing and deliverance did not happen overnight for me in many circumstances like I wanted it to. But sitting through the process, pain, betrayal, etc taught me valuable lessons about myself, others and the world. Additionally the process strengthened my relationship with Jesus and Daddy God.
- So I know it sucks and it’s hard to have to go through the process to get your healing. But don’t miss what Daddy God is trying to teach you in those moments. Grow through what you go through and remember all things the good and the bad work together for our good. It might not feel good in the moment but eventually it will pass. Hard times do not last forever. Keep going you can do it and you got this.
