Everything Has An Appointed Time‼️

13 “And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’ ” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.” 14 So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered, “Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.” 15 So he said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. 16 Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my Lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!” 17 But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.” (II Kings‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

  • Just because you do not see anything happening in the moment does not mean those things God has promised you will not come to pass. If He said it then He will do it. Sometimes there needs to be preparation for the promise because to whom much is given much is required. You don’t want to get something you will not be able to maintain. In other instances God just wants you to work on your relationship with Him and Jesus before the promise so you won’t idolize it. Nevertheless whatever the reason may be everything has its appointment time. It doesn’t matter if you think you missed the mark or the delays, etc when the time is right it shall come to pass.
  • “But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke 12:48 NKJV)
  • “2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:2-4 NKJV)
