God’s Purpose Will Prevail‼️

If we read the book of Ezra we see that in chapter 3 the children of Israel started to rebuild and restore worship and the temple of God in Jerusalem. Nevertheless in chapter 4 we see that adversaries came trying to cause resistance to rebuilding the temple of God. The adversaries went as far as writing accusations and sending it to king Artaxerxes to stop them from rebuilding. This caused the work to rebuild the temple to be stopped and hindered for a moment. However in chapter 5 we see the restoration of the temple resumed  & prophet Haggai and Zechariah prophesied to the Jews in the name of the Lord and they all began to rebuild the temple. The adversaries once again tried to stop them from rebuilding and sending accusations to the king at that time but this time God’s will prevailed. A new king (King Darius) was on the throne and God gave the children of Israel the victory. The king gave favor to the children of Israel and told the adversaries to stay away from them and let leave them alone and let them rebuild. On top of everything in Ezra 6:8-10 we see king Darius sent a decree and stated that the cost to rebuild the house of the Lord be paid at the kings expense, that they should not be hindered and everything that was needed let it be given to them. Another decree was even issued in Ezra 6:11-12 that whoever tries to stop them from rebuilding will be hanged and that may God destroy anyone who gets in the way. In the end the building of the temple was finished and dedicated to God. 

• With all this being said God’s purpose will prevail and it does not matter who  or what tries to get in the way. When God’s hand is on you no devil in hell, accusations, delay, hindrance, etc will stop what God has planned for you. “They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the Lord, “to deliver you.” (Jeremiah 1:19 NKJV) God will provide, give you favor, protection and you will prevail against everything that tries to come up against you. Jesus will deliver you and in the end you will win and have the victory. There are more with us than those that are against us.
