The Gospel Is Only Foolish To Those Who Are Already Perishing (1 Corinthians 1:18-25)‼️

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” (I Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

  • What seems wise to the world is foolish to God and what is good and is pleasing to God is considered foolish by the human mind. Our flesh will always want to war against the Holy Spirit. However it does not matter your condition and what you have done, Jesus Christ can redeem you and make you a new creation in Christ (only if YOU want Him). The choice will always be ours whether we want to do God’s will for our lives or live according to the world’s foolish wisdom. This is why many people are called but only a few are chosen. Those who the gospel is preached to and reject it are those who believe the world has something better than God to offer them… but the devil is a liar and little do these people know their soul is in jeopardy and they are perishing. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. The only way to heaven is to get to God and the only way to get to the Father is to get to His Son First. If this sounds like you please REPENT and turn from your ways because Jesus Christ loves you and died for you.

“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14 NKJV)

“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41 NKJV)

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV)
