It Sounds Good But What Does Your HEART Look Like (John 2:23-25)⁉️

“Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.” (John‬ ‭2‬:‭23‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

  • You might be able to fool the world but you cannot fool God or Jesus. You can claim “God knows my heart” all day long but if you are not checking yourself on a daily you are only deceiving yourself. God does test our hearts to see how pure and genuine we truly are. Furthermore, we should always bring everything back to Jesus because the Word tells us to guard our hearts because it can be deceitful. Put your trust in Jesus not human beings because people will let you down but Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 NKJV)

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
