- Deliverance comes through the Word and believing in Jesus Christ who died for us and our sins. The Bible has everything we need to bring us the freedom we need. All we have to do is open it, read it, and obey the instructions God and Jesus give us in it. The problem nowadays is people want to pick and choose what to obey or use scripture to manipulate each other. God never intended for His Word to become an option to us. Reading the Bible is a necessity for the well being of human beings and to be able to walk in God’s will for our lives. The wisdom and knowledge in the Bible helps us understand God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, ourselves, others, and other things in the world.
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV)
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV)
