Chances

God gives us many chances. He gave Moses many chances to get it right. It wasn’t easy because Moses before Jesus wasn’t so Holy. Moses had killed a man and God still used Him. God tested Moses to see if He would pray to Him instead He yelled at the people. Moses had one chance to get it right but He yelled at the people. But our God is so graceful He gave Moses many chances. Hence, here we are learning about Him. We all have a little bit of Moses in us. Besides it all, Moses was Jesus’ main man. The only prophet God appeared to in person was Moses, every other prophet He spoke to was through dreams, visions, etc.

Our mission in life is to devote our lives to the Lord. Anything we do in His name will be repaid by Him. Everybody has an opportunity to work for the Lord and to help this messed up world. For we can help the lost and the weak. “6 Instead you are to go to the lost sheep of the people of Israel. 7 Go and preach, “The kingdom of heaven is near!’ 8 Heal the sick, bring the dead back to life, heal those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases, and drive out demons.” (Matthew 10:6-8) We all have our own cross to take up and follow in Jesus’ footsteps. He’ll give us chance after chance until we get it right or not… if He has no use for us, we have no reason to be on this earth and we’re better off dead.

Did you know we have the power to perform miracles ourselves? The problem nowadays is that here is too much disbelief. If we really wanted to tell a mountain to move, it can move. However, it takes a different type of Faith to move mountains. “It was because you do not have enough faith,” answered Jesus. “ I assure you that if you have faith as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this hill, ‘Go from here to there!’ And it will go. You could do anything!” (Matthew 17:20) Anxiety and depression has made it hard for people to control their thoughts. If you can’t control your mind you’ll always end up sabotaging your decisions. Therefore, give yourself a chance for change and God.
