God will not give us more than what we can handle. However He does have set expectations on us. For instance, I had to recently move from California Back to Pennsylvania because of the situation with the father of my son. “Much is required from the person to whom much is given; much more is required from the person to whom much more is given.” (Luke 22:48) By this I mean He requires a lot more from your spiritual side. He wants you to repent and to accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. Don’t wait until God sends a disease to your body, you’re on your hospital bed, or worse to finally let God in. Before we were born, we knew Him but once we were born we forgot about Him. Our mission in life is to make it back to him. Nothing “just happens” in life. You can’t stop what God has for you, you might be able to delay the process but sooner than later even if you are in your last days of life, you will remember Him. Therefore, hold your weight because God is not going to trust you enough to bless you with big things if you don’t show him first.
