The Disobedient People

8 “God told me to write down in a book what the people are like, so that there would be a permanent record of how evil they are. 9 They are always rebelling against God, always lying, always refusing to listen to the Lord ‘s teachings. 10 They tell the prophets to keep quiet. They say, “Don’t talk to us about what’s right. Tell us what we want to hear. Let us keep our illusions. 11 Get out of our way and stop blocking our path. We don’t want to hear about your holy God of Israel.” 12 But this is what the holy God of Israel says: “You ignore what I tell you and rely on violence and deceit. 13 You are guilty. You are like a high wall with a crack running down it; suddenly you will collapse.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:8-13‬ ‭GNT‬‬) It’s going to be hard for those that disobey God to make it into His kingdom. From experience I’ve noticed those that do not believe in Him, live in their own little fairytale. They believe everything that happened is because of their strength and do not give no credit to our Lord. They are always rebelling and think violence is the key. They do to others what they would not like done to them and they choose to believe whatever benefits them. They walk in the darkness and cannot see the light.

Whenever I speak to a non believer about God they say “oh I don’t believe in God, I always had to do things on my own.” Yet, they fail to realize you cannot feel Him because you don’t acknowledge Him. God flees away from those that do not believe in Him and disobey him. However, because He is a gracious God He is always waiting for us to repent and come back home to Him. “And yet the Lord is waiting to be merciful to you. He is ready to take pity on you because he always does what is right. Happy are those who put their trust in the Lord.”(‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:18‬ ‭GNT‬‬) He is always waiting on sinners with open arms no matter how far away we go from Him and His will for us. All He asks of us is to confess our sins, turn away from evil, and praise Him. Before He called me I was a sinner and did not entirely follow His rules. I’ve been doing things wrong for the longest that Once I found the way, I knew in my heart I had to turn to our God. Once you give your life to Him, He will always be by your side.

Since I gave Him my life, I’ve been at peace with myself and the world. Some days might be painful but because I believe God can do what He said He can, I know pain doesn’t last forever. 20The Lord will make you go through hard times, but he himself will be there to teach you, and you will not have to search for him any more. 21 If you wander off the road to the right or the left, you will hear his voice behind you saying, “Here is the road. Follow it.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:20-21‬ ‭GNT‬‬) Even if at times you may not know the way, rest assured that God will always provide a path. However, it is up to us to choose the right path. Remember God will give us the right path, but the devil will put the bad path right beside His to confuse you. Use your intuition and let the Holy Spirit guide you. If it doesn’t feel right, do not do it because you are sinning against yourself. Read His words on a daily basis so you can stay in tune with our Lord. The more you read, the more powerful you become especially mentally.
