We can replace material things, people, words, etc. Yet, time is the most valuable asset we will ever possess. We all get the same amount of time, what makes us different is what we do with our time. Once upon a time I remember a time when all I wanted to do was stay home and sleep. I got too comfortable and wasn’t growing or learning anything new. However, once my son came along everything changed. When I got pregnant I felt this push and pull sensation as if I needed to get moving. Funny thing was around that time I didn’t know why my life was getting so hectic. Fast forward to when I gave birth I felt a sense of change. I felt like something had to change because everything wasn’t just about me anymore. I wanted to leave my son a legacy and it wasn’t going to come true with me just laying down, and sleeping my life away. I didn’t want time to pass me by and then I would be 70 years old wondering where my whole life went. I want to travel the world, see new places and taste new foods. There’s a lot in this world to see from beaches, to beautiful cities, and fun things to do (amusement parks, bungee jumping, skydiving, etc). I want to taste new foods, don’t get me wrong I love my Dominican food but I’m ready to eat new things. I’m trying to get out into the world more and get out of my comfort zone.
