Job was a good man that always did right and obeyed Yahweh. One day Satan was roaming around earth looking for who he can devour. God pointed him straight towards Job direction and after that Jobs life went downhill. Job lost all his wealth, children and a disease was brought upon him. Job felt hopeless and just wanted to die. His wife tried to get him to curse God so he can just die and be in peace. But He loves God way too much. His friends tried to comfort him but they just ended up tormenting him with their words. “Why do you keep tormenting me with words?” (Job 19:1-2 GNT) He argued with God and stated his case. However, Job never turned his back on God. In the end God blesses him with a double portion of what He had lost.
I feel as Job did in those times. I lost many things in this season: my relationship, my family, friends and my financial situation. I almost gave up and lost my mind but I never turned my back on God and Jesus. Even though I pleaded my case to God and didn’t understand why all this was happening I still waited. I’m still waiting for all this to come to pass but now I’m stronger and wiser. I know all things are working for my good and God would not give me more than I can handle. God knows when to bless me, how to bless me and when I’m ready to be blessed. I know everything I’m enduring is not in vain and God has a reward for me at the end of this storm. I just have to wait and get closer to God and Jesus in this moment. They are all I have at this and my son.
Look at this scripture: “and he said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Dig ditches all over this dry stream bed. Even though you will not see any rain or wind, this stream bed will be filled with water, and you, your livestock, and your pack animals will have plenty to drink.’” And Elisha continued, “But this is an easy thing for the Lord to do; he will also give you victory over the Moabites.” (2 Kings 3:16-18 GNT) We will not alway know how God will do it. Sometimes God doesn’t show us a way because He wants us to trust Him. We won’t see it coming. But one thing for sure is that He will always come and provide. When He decides to step in He will give us exceedingly and abundantly all that we may ask. In the end we will win and even have victory over our enemies.
