Sometimes God will bless you effortlessly and you won’t have to do nothing. Other times God will have us follow Him to get our blessings. For example: I was in a critical situation with my finances once this CoronaVirus started. I had no job, I had unemployment for a while but I knew at one point that would end. I honestly dislike working for other people because I will be my own boss one day. Therefore, I dreaded finding another job and going to work. I was kind of just praying to Jesus to bless me financially without me having to find another job but He had other plans for me. One day out of the blue I decided to apply for a job and to go back to work. I know this is what I had to do because my past self would have done the contrary. God made a way for my finances to get better but I have my role to play too which is to go and get it. Sometimes we must lay down what we think we know or want to walk in God’s will for our life. “My thoughts,” says the Lord, “are not like yours, and my ways are different from yours.” (Isaiah 55:8 GNT)
