11 “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. 12 Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. 13 You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart. 14 Yes, I say, you will find me, and I will restore you to your land. I will gather you from every country and from every place to which I have scattered you, and I will bring you back to the land from which I had sent you away into exile. I, the Lord, have spoken.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14 GNT)
Yahweh only wants what is best for us. He desires that everyone would make it into the promised land. He wants to give us more than we could ever imagine or ask for. He wants to be our provider and our protector if we just surrender to Him. Sometimes we tend to worry about bills & etc, that we try to make things happen by our own strength. In reality we don’t need to make anything happen we just need to take head to our Fathers voice and obey. The new year started off full of uncertainties but I’m thankful. Although I may not have all the money in the world or a job for a steady income, I do serve an amazing God and have my family.
I’ve been searching for a job since the beginning of the month and have yet to find a job. Moving forward, I had money saved up for months but recently I had to get a new car because my old car broke down. On top of it all I didn’t know how I was going to pay all of my bills for this month. However, in the midst of all this I felt a sense of peace and not of urgency. At moments quick thoughts of fear would creep in but the thought of what my Father has already done for me overrides all my fears. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)
With the first of the month coming up I only had a couple of days to get the rent money. Yet, my God always comes through for me. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV) This morning I woke up to the stimulus check therefore I’m able to pay all my bills for this month. I’m grateful because He is the provider of it all and the source He used to provide for me was the irs. I won’t worry about next month. I don’t always know how they will do it but I can always trust Yahweh and Yeshua will provide for me.
