Sometimes when we get some bad news our automatic response is fear. For a second we get lost in ourselves and start worrying. To avoid going down a dark thought process we must catch our thoughts firsthand and turn immediately to the word of God. In the moment it’s hard to understand what is going on and this is why the Lord tells us to not rely on our own understanding. We serve a God whose words can not return back voided. Therefore, most of the time we won’t know for sure until what He has spoken comes to pass. This is where faith takes the place of our fears and we let Jesus lead the way..
