I remember living life with no meaning. I used to think all we did was work to later die. I had no spiritual insight and was living by the world’s standards. I lived to please my fleshly desires. Sex before marriage, masturbation, immoral thoughts, etc … you name it. I had no consideration for our Lord and savior. I was blinded to the truth because I was raised up to believe the lies of the enemy. My old self had to die because everything I knew was a lie. I was set up to fail by following the world and coming from a family that is totally contrary to what our Father in Heaven represents. I had to make a choice and lose myself to actually find my identity in Christ. I’m not better than anyone because at the end of the day it’s not by my strength. God is the one who makes all this possible. God loves us so much that He wants to bless us even though we break His heart at times. God knows we don’t deserve anything He offers us but His grace and mercy is all we need.

9 It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it.
