“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20 ESV)
Jesus is such a gentleman. He will never force himself upon us. For this exact reason God created free will. We get to choose whether we love Jesus or not. We get to choose to stop sinning or not. We get to choose whether we go to Heaven or not. The path we take is entirely up to us. This is why I will never understand the people who blame God for the choices they have made. If God wanted to force us to do anything it would be to be good and holy and love others just as Jesus loves the church. God created us to be pure, we chose to be bad all by ourselves. Jesus waits for us to let Him into our hearts He does not barge in like He owns the place, even though we belong to Him and He has every right to. Therefore, look at the choices you have made and see where they have gotten you? Open up your heart to Him and let Him in. The life you’ve lived and pain you have experienced can never amount to the Joy and peace He can offer us.
