Turning Weaknesses into Wins

We will not always be perfect. We will not always get it right. We are human and we will mess up because that’s the carnal part of us. However, we can always go back to our savior with a repentant heart and His mercy will be right there waiting for us. Imagine if we only got one chance to get it right… I don’t think any of us would be here. Jesus is so merciful and that’s what I love about Him. “His grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.” (‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬) Whatever we lack, our God will supply.

The experiences we face on this earth are here to make us better, not bitter. I admit I haven’t been working on my purpose lately. I have been getting distracted and worried about the wrong things. I have gotten off track and I can acknowledge that. At first, I wanted to beat myself up and stress about it. Yet, If I’m realistic doing that wouldn’t make anything better. My weakness right now is getting my fire back so I can get back on track, but that’s where Jesus will lend me His strength. Remember, “we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” (Philippians 4:13)

In this walk with Jesus we will never stop learning and growing. We learn from our mistakes. We learn from the world. We learn from other people. Most of all we learn from Jesus. Sometimes we can get distracted. Other times we can get so off course and far away from our purpose. Nevertheless, acknowledge it and choose to get back on track. In the end, the choice is ours to decide what we do with what we learn. Jesus just wants the best for us but we have to want that too. Don’t beat yourself up because Jesus wouldn’t want you doing that.
