Being yourself can intimidate people‼️

“So Haman went out that day joyful and with a glad heart; but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, and that he did not stand or tremble before him, he was filled with indignation against Mordecai.” (Esther 5:9 NKJV)

In the book of Esther, Haman persecuted Mordecai because he did not bow down to him. Haman had power and was close to the King but Mordecai was a regular Jewish man that loved Daddy God. Anyways Haman was so mad He plotted to kill Mordecai by building a gallow for him. However, in the end Mordecai wins and Haman gets hanged in the very gallow he built for Mordecai.

With that being said some people will dislike you when they see that you don’t bow down to them. They want to try to control you but they can’t. People get uncomfortable when you don’t fit in with the world and are yourself. However people can get angry and feel how they feel but the only ones we need to bow down to is Jesus and Daddy God. People can plot all they want but in the end we will win because Daddy God is with us and for us. Find your identity in Christ and you will not be shaken.

  1. I’m sorry that I haven’t commented on this post before, but I have read it more than once because it describes some past relationships and probably ones to come. I had to learn not to compromise to please the people in my life especially if out of fear of what they might do. No matter what I must be faithful to God and seek to please Him. Thank you for this post and how it reminds me to be who God created me to be 💖

    1. Hey Julie, do not worry about it! I hope all is well! Thank you for sharing. I appreciate your words! I pray you continue to become everything God created you to be in all areas of your life & that He does exceedingly and abundantly above all that you may ask or think! This walk is not easy but Jesus will give you the strength and power. 🩷
