A New Creation In Christ‼️

I was reading something pertaining to the book of Acts and I had a question about Saul who was converted into Paul. So I brought the questions to Daddy God.

I asked Him:

“Why did you change Saul’s name from Paul to Saul?”

“Why do you change people’s name when they come to you?”

The revelation I received was:

Do you see a baby when it is born? A baby when it is born is a new creation. The baby has never been here before but the parents have to give the baby a new name. It is the same way with us when we come to Christ. The world might see us by our old name, old habits, old us… but Daddy God and Jesus see us as the new us in Them. The masterpiece we were created to be. They no longer see our sins of the world even though we will sin even as Christians because we are not perfect and will fall short but Jesus paid the price and we are forgiven. The difference is that when we fall short now it is up to us to repent, take accountability and change our ways to avoid committing the same sin and sin overall. The world (family, old friends, acquaintances, etc) might still see us as the old us (as Saul, Sarai, Jacob, etc) but when we come to Christ we are a new creation and our name changes.

”Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.“ (II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)
