14 ”And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne 22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” (Revelation 3:14-22 NKJV)
⁃ You can’t claim you love Daddy God and Jesus but still want to live in the world and in sin. Everybody wants the feel good watered down gospel that tells you it’s ok to be a Christian and still live life how you want to. But that’s not how it works and the two can’t coexist. When you come to Christ you need to die to your old life and become a new creation. You need to actually obey the word and not just know scripture. It’s about building a relationship with Them, it’s not just religion. A relationship transforms you and renews you. Religion is just you knowing of Them/ scripture but not actually obeying the Word or Daddy God & Jesus. Too many “Christian’s” are lukewarm and are representing my Daddy God and Brother Jesus in a bad way which makes people not want to get to know Them. If you want to be of the world by all means do that because you have your own free will but don’t use Daddy God’s or Jesus name as a facade.
⁃ When you choose the world you are serving the god of this world (lower case g because it’s satan in whatever form you choose). Don’t mold the gospel for your own glory, we should be bringing the glory to Daddy God in everything we do. The Word of God will make other peoples demons uncomfortable but it’s not your job to change the gospel to make others feel good. When you are really walking with Christ you will have enemies, be persecuted, hated, slandered, etc. However who cares? You are already accepted and approved by Daddy God and Jesus, you don’t need the world’s approval. Those who have ears to hear will hear and those who have eyes to see will see. The veil will be lifted from those who accept Jesus and the veil remains on those who reject him. The word will convict, edify, deliver people, etc. Our job as servants of Daddy God and Jesus is to spread the gospel just as it is with the help of the Holy Spirit.
