Idolatry‼️

“ 27 Saying to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ And to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble They will say, ‘Arise and save us.’ 28 But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, If they can save you in the time of your trouble; For according to the number of your cities Are your gods, O Judah. 29 “Why will you plead with Me? You all have transgressed against Me,” says the Lord.“ (Jeremiah 2:27-29 NKJV)

⁃ Daddy God wants people to chose Him and Jesus because you genuinely love Them and want to build your relationship with Them. However, most people usually do not want anything to do with Daddy God and Jesus until they are put in a predicament only They can save them out of. But that is not how Daddy God works, He is not a genie. He is not obligated to come to your rescue when you’re not obedient to Him, Jesus and the Word. Additionally, people would rather worship and idolize the things of this world and other gods that cannot really do anything for you. satan can give you an illusion and false signs to make you believe it’s working. satan can also offer riches that do not come from Daddy God but in the end it leads to destruction and your soul is in jeopardy. Not every good thing is a God thing. We shall not worship any other idols but Daddy God alone, He is a jealous God. An idol is not only another god, it is also anything you put above Daddy God and Jesus whether it’s a person, job, thing, etc.

• ”And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. “You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.“ (Exodus 20:1-6 NKJV)
