What Is Your Heart Posture⁉️

30 “Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.  33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” 34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” 35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.” (Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭30‬-‭38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In the scripture we see that the angel told Mary she will conceive and have Jesus. However, Mary was a virgin so she did not know how that would come about. Nevertheless in verse 37 we see that it says “For with God nothing will be impossible.” After that Mary responds with “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! let it be to me according to your word.”

• With that being said sometimes we might find ourselves in situations where we might not see a way out or we don’t know how Daddy God will make something He has promised us happen. But the Lord will make a way where there seems no way. What matters is our heart posture in the waiting and preparation. Mary might have had her doubts I know I would have but in the end she wanted Daddy God’s will over her life instead of her own. In the same way we need to make sure we are wanting what Daddy God and Jesus want for us. 

• This is why it is important to walk by faith and not by sight. When we walk by faith we are seeing things through Daddy God’s lenses and that’s when the peace that surpasses all understanding will come upon us. Why? Because we know that “With God NOTHING is impossible.” We might not see it now but we can trust that at the right time Jesus will come through for us. It might be hard and overwhelming but shifting our perspective is everything because when we walk by what we see and not by Faith we cause ourselves turmoil. This is where the anxiety, overthinking , etc come in because we are trying to figure it out with our human minds when Daddy God and Jesus already have it figured out and we just have to trust Them and walk in obedience. 

• So let’s examine our hearts on a daily basis to make sure we have the correct posture and let us never forget that we are not alone despite of what it looks like. Fix your eyes on Them and not on your circumstances, the problems, the promises, etc. In the end we have the victory because Daddy God and Jesus are by our side.
