Saved By Grace & Mercy‼️

3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (I Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

What is mercy? 

When Daddy God does not give us the punishment we deserve. 

What is grace?

When Daddy God grants us underserved favor. 

• With this being said when we read the Old Testament we see that people were dealt with differently. People got the punishment they actually deserved. However, Daddy God showed us mercy through Jesus in the New Testament. Jesus paid the price for our sins and paid the punishment that was due to us. So in reality we are not getting the punishment we actually deserve. We are not saved by our efforts or works but because of the grace of Daddy God through our faith in His one and only begotten son, Jesus Christ.
