God Is Love‼️

“Then the Lord said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.” (Hosea‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

• Sometimes we get caught up chasing the wrong things. We chase materialistic things. We chase relationships. We chase culture. We chase other idols. We chase love even though God is love and until you know Him, you will not know true love. We chase all these things except a relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Then we wonder why we are still unfulfilled. Nothing in this world will be able to fill that void in you, only Jesus can.

• Look at the story of Gomer in the book of Hosea where God tells Him to go and love again his adulterous wife. Why do we try to love the things that do not love us back? Sounds familiar? Must be how God feels. Image giving up your one and only Son for humans that don’t love you back. The good thing is that His love, grace, and mercy is not dependent on us. Inspite of us God and Jesus love us unconditionally. They are always waiting for us with open arms. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be ashamed if you realized you been doing it all wrong. Just repent, turn from your ways and let Jesus make you new. Return to the who loves you the most because He is waiting for you.
