Jesus Doesn’t Care About Your TRADITION; Your Heart Says Otherwise (Matthew 15:7-9)‼️

“Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” (Matthew‬ ‭15‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

• It may sound good and it may even look good from the outside but Jesus knows what is really in our hearts. There are a lot of religious people and not enough people walking in the power and truth of the Holy Spirit. There are a lot of people that know of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit but don’t have an actual relationship with Them. We need to make sure we are obeying the commandments of God and not just talking about them. We need to be letting the Holy Spirit lead and not our flesh. We need to lead people to the cross and not away from it. Jesus cares about making us clean from the inside first and not what it looks like on the physical or outside. This is a reminder that we need to be checking our hearts on a daily to make sure we have the correct posture towards God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, the things of the Kingdom, and towards others.
