“You may not be able to do all you find out, but you should find out all you can do.” ~ Jim Rohn
Life is like a maze, in which The Kingdom is the final prize on the other side. Although, you have to be careful and not let anything or anybody stop your destiny. “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Mathew 7:14 NIV) Nevertheless, if you do get lost along the way, you can always get back on the right path and do it quickly, or else it can lead to destruction. The real you is always within you but depending on how you see life determines which version of yourself you portray. Seek your happiness in the Lord and he will give you your heart’s desire. (Psalm 37:4 NIV).
I’ve been lost before. I’ve been taken advantage off. I’ve been mistreated by those I love the most. I’ve been betrayed by people who always said they will be there. I’ve been broken beyond repair. I’ve felt alone plenty of times in a room full of people. In a world where I was just looking for love, I was rejected. However, I let the emotions from rejection take over me and turn me into somebody who just didn’t care. Moving forward was my only option, I didn’t want to feel that kind of hurt anymore. I had to isolate myself to see the light in a state where I was just focused on the dark. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4) Truth is I was never alone, my God is awesome, and He was and will always be with me to protect and guide me.
Little did I know this was all a test from Him. My Father just wanted to see me overcome all these obstacles that were once stopping my growth. Here I will give you some tips on personal growth and how to become the best version of yourself you can be. First and foremost, you have to build your relationship with God. Through him anything is possible and without him nothing is possible. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (1 Jeremiah 9:11) Subsequently, you have to discipline yourself and make yourself do the necessary things. Furthermore, you have to have self motivation because you can’t change anyone but yourself. Additionally, study so you can gain knowledge on the things you want to achieve. In conclusion, do it now owing to the fact that later becomes to never. If it doesn’t challenge you, it does not change you.
Always remember we all have issues and no matter how much progress we have made, we all snap back sometimes. Healing takes time, perseverance, and a lot of time with God. “My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20-22) Habits are about management. Bad habits are caught easily, but good habits are planted and cultivated. Just like a farmer cultivates and nourishes his fields of harvest all year round, so their crops can produce fruitful things. Don’t worry about others and how much better they are doing than you. Never get caught up in other people’s success because your turn will come, it just isn’t your season yet. Everyone is destined for something yet some just don’t dig deep enough within them to discover themselves and connect with God.
