Stability and Fruitfulness

1 I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He breaks off every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and He prunes every branch that does bear fruit. 3 You have been made clean already by the teachings I have given you.” Finding the union between stability and fruitfulness is key. We need to be stable in our health (mentally and physically), emotions, peace, etc. First and foremost He needs to strengthen us, so that we can be ready for whatever comes our way. Sometimes we don’t get what we want when we want to because we are either not ready for it (too immature) or it’s not in His Will. He needs to mold us and shape us into who He envisions we can be. That’s why He will send lessons in order for us to change what is not like Him. However, those things that can be fruitful in our lives He nourishes so that they can grow. Altogether, with what we learn from the Bible we will be forgiven and made new.

5 I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit: for you can do nothing without me.” Nevertheless, there is no us without our Lord. You are my Creator and it would be a disgrace of me to give credit to anything that’s not you. We don’t even have to be fruitful, we just have to be stable. God will make us fruitful as long as we are stable. Anything we try to achieve without Him will not flourish or it will come undone. He’ll sometimes give us blessings to see if we can be trusted. He’ll bless us so that we may worship Him for the blessing and not worship the actual blessing itself. If He notices the blessing He gave us is driving us away from Him or our purpose He will take it away. Don’t worry, this does not mean He will not give it back to you once He feels like you can handle it properly.

7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you then you will ask for anything you wish and you shall have it. 8 My Father’s glory is shown by your bearing much fruit: and in this way you become my disciples.” Therefore, that’s why we have to abide in Him before we do anything. Consult Him before doing anything because you never know If it’s in His will for you. Truth is our job is to build and maintain a relationship with Jesus. Afterwards He will provide the rest relationships, love, houses, cars, money, peace, wisdom, etc. Yet, when we are stable and fruitful God along with Jesus and all of Heaven’s resources rejoice in the Kingdom. God loves seeing us happy. His ultimate motive in our life is to bring Peace to our disarray. If your life is fruitful this means you are on the right path and God is very pleased with you.
