Trust in the Lord

If you can trust man, why can’t you trust God with your life? He created man and the world, so why do we turn away from good every chance we get? When it’s time to do evil we don’t think about it twice. However, when it’s time to do good we question it. Isn’t it crazy how the world was set up to make us fail. At last, this is the devils world and we have to do everything in our power to make it to our Father’s kingdom. Do not base your future on your current circumstances because Jesus can always make a way out of no way. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) Instead, give all your problems, worries, and fear to the Lord. Believe me when I say He is the only one that can bring peace to our chaos. I’m not talking about just any peace either, I’m talking about internal peace… a peace of mind.

  1. Many scriptures tell us not to put trust in man. Some are listed below:

    • Psalm 146:3: “Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save”.
    • Psalm 118:8–9: “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes”.
    • Jeremiah 17:5: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD”.
    • Micah 7:5-8: “Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend”.
    • Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding”.
