“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalms 118:24 KJV) We can work Monday through Saturday if we want. Yet, the Lord doesn’t want us working on Sundays. On this day we are supposed to rest and be with our families. This came about because God created the world in 7 days and the 7th day He rested. I’m actually grateful we get a rest day to just do nothing. As a matter of fact, I’m grateful I can even wake up every morning to accomplish anything.
