Jealousy seems to be more common nowadays. People would be jealous of your looks. Jealous of your anointing. Jealous that you don’t deal with things the same way they do. Jealous that people would love you. Jealous that God chose you. Jealous when Jesus promotes you. Jealous Jealous Jealous… and it’s sad because people don’t know all you went through to get to where you are. They don’t know all the hardships you faced to become that person. But let me inform you how that comes from the devil because that is carnal. You are feeding your ego to make yourself feel better about yourself. Throwing dirt on others is not going to make you shine. Besides God doesn’t give us these types of emotions. “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV)
