I know there’s a lot of people In a storm right now. I’m right here along with everybody else. Last night I asked my father for some comfort and today I woke up to this verse: “The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.” (Psalms 29:11 NKJV) My brother Jesus sure does know how to bring peace in the midst of a storm. Instead of thinking of my storm today I choose to think past it. I decided to visualize myself on the other side of the storm. You know… the rainbow that comes every storm. Instead of waiting I’m already declaring what is mine.
Whatever God promised you will come to fruition, if He said it will happen it, He will do it. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23 NKJV) But before we can get to the promise we need to pass the tests. Yes, God will test us before, during and after our storms. We need to know the difference between tests and the enemy trying to tempt us. Ask Jesus for revelation to know which is what and the Holy Spirit will give it to you. Test will come because God wants to know how authentic our faith is towards Him. Will we prevail in the midst of the storm?
We need to watch our thoughts and words during this time. There’s a season for everything. This is the season of believing not the season of questioning God. Do not be like Moses, he did not enter the promised land even though God loved Him and there was nobody ever like him ever again. Moses broke faith in front of the people and dishonored him in the wilderness. “because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.” (Deuteronomy 32:51 NKJV)
