When everybody discarded me God decided I was worth it. When nobody believed in me Jesus believed in me. They could have left me right where they found me. They could have turned the other cheek and said “oh no she’s not ever changing” They patiently waited on me and when I finally surrendered they received me with open arms. What others think doesn’t matter, God is the only judge. For our love God endures forever. Why would I not give my life to them? Look at all they do for me. They fight for me when I feel like giving up. When I doubt myself, they lift me up. When I think I’m not good enough they say who better than you for the job. They turned all my fears and doubts into joy and clarity. The pain I once felt so deeply no longer lives inside of me.
They turned my water into wine and I’m so grateful. My negative thoughts into positive thoughts. My sinful ways into righteous actions. I am made new and it’s all because of their love. The greatest part is that they didn’t want anything from me other than my love. They just wanted me to come as I am and to seek them. I’m not here for what they can give to me. The blessings will come regardless because God is so graceful. We are His children and He is our father so He will supply all of our needs regardless. “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.” (Matthew 6:33 AMP)
