When Job lost everything according to the word of God in (Job 1:21) “He said “I was born with nothing, and I will die with nothing The Lord gave, and now He has taken away. May His name be praised!” This verse came to my rescue this morning and gave me a sense of peace. I know many of us are going through hard times. I believe we can all learn something from Job during these times of struggle. I love how Job didn’t curse God but in return He Praised Him. Job knew he wouldn’t have had any of the blessings he had if it was not for God. Who was he to say no when God took away the things He gave?
In essence, we can learn to look at our problems in a different light. God would not be asking us for something if He was not going to replace it with something better. In order to reach the next season we always have to let go of something or many things. Whether it’s people, past mindsets, behaviors, or anything that will not help us in the next season. Will you trust God when He says no? Will you trust God when your finances are low? Will you trust God when you lose your Job? Will you trust God when you have nobody? Will you trust God in whatever circumstance you’re facing right now?
I can relate to Job. I’ve lost it all: Relationships, my job, finances, etc. However, I still can praise Yahweh and Yeshua for the things I still have right now. I have my son, shelter, food, etc. It might not be all that I expected but there’s people out there that don’t have any of these things. Praise the Lord that He wakes you up everyday. Praise that He loves you and His love is sufficient to overcome anything. Praise The Lord because He will never leave you nor forsake you. Don’t get too focused on the past that you miss out on what is in front of you. I know sometimes we might feel stuck but do something. A little bit goes a long way rather than doing nothing.
