Today I went back to the church I used to go to. This was the church where I got baptized and the first church I went to when I moved to California. After I moved thirty minutes away from this church I stopped going. I tried going to this church close to home but it wasn’t for me. Anyways, I got to rekindle a friendship with one of my old friends. It was well needed because with everything going on I felt a little bit isolated. I don’t mind being alone but having a genuine friend with a Godly connection is good. I’m not too fond of all churches because there are many false preachers. However, this church is legit and genuine. I love the atmosphere and it feels good to be in the presence of the Lord with other people that love him. “For where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them.” (Matthew 18:20 GNT)
