“Return, all of you who have turned away from the Lord; he will heal you and make you faithful.” (Jeremiah 3:22 GNT) Repentance is the way to my Father’s heart. If we put our pride aside, confess our sins and change our wicked ways, we can all experience His magnificent Glory. We can all make it to the promised land and have many descendants. Yahweh and Yeshua just want their credit. If people turn away from their wicked idols, Yahweh will hear your cry. What can idols do for you? When you are in trouble can they save you? No, they cannot.
The Lord is very displeased because people only call upon Him when they are trouble. The world does not seek Yahweh and Yeshua for who they truly are. They are merciful, graceful, protectors, providers, and more. Yahweh will not help the sinners that chose not repent and worship other idols. Why should He? He says let the idols that you chose over Him save you. “Where are the gods that you made for yourselves? When you are in trouble, let them save you—if they can! Judah, you have as many gods as you have cities.” (Jeremiah 2:28 GNT)
