“You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.” (John 15:16 GNT) Before we knew Jesus He already knew us. Jesus knows us from beginning to end, from birth to death. We did not choose Him, He chose us. Through our trials and tribulations we had no other choice but to hold on to Jesus and God. What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger if we abide in them.
After Jesus helps us overcome our trials we will have much fruit. The kind of fruit to go out and help the next person. We are not the only ones going through these experiences, I’m sure there are many people out here going through the same trials as me. If I can overcome these things, you also can. It’s selfish to see your brethren or sister in Christ struggling and not helping knowing you have the solution. How would you feel if Jesus saw you struggling but chose not to help you? Whatever you endure will give you life experience.
Therefore, after you focus on your relationship with Jesus and God, do what they ask of you or help others they will reward you. Whatever we ask God for in the name of Jesus if we are living righteous we will get. You don’t even have to ask at times but because you are with them they will automatically bless you beyond measures. However, don’t seek just the rewards and what they can do for you. Love Jesus and God with your whole heart even when you don’t get what you want.
