The enemy will try his best to do everything to take us further away from God. He will send distractions our way whether it is through people or circumstances to try to get us to blame God or turn away from Him. But the devil is a liar and we have to try our best everyday to get closer to God and Jesus. I’ve been at a place where every time I decide to get closer to God people that don’t usually care about me all of a sudden start acting like they do. Let me tell you how that ain’t nothing but distractions. I’m at a point where I want Jesus more than anything in this world. Nothing in this world means more to me than my relationship with God and Jesus. My God will supply all your needs according to all the riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
If I have to walk alone to prove to God that He is all I want then I will. At the end of the day when people leave us and reject us Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. When people stop loving us Jesus loves us unconditionally. Sometimes it might get lonely but God and Jesus are always there with us through it all. Don’t let your loneliness make you run back to what you’re not supposed to be in anymore. The only thing we should be running back to everyday is to God and Jesus and their presence. Nothing will ever fill us up like them: no materialistic things, people, places, etc. We don’t ever have to pretend because they love us flaws and all. I don’t want to break their hearts because they never did anything to hurt us in the first place.
